  • With:               A 5* Cruise Liner
  • Where:             Around the globe on one of their GORGEOUS ships
  • Start date:       Soon!
  • Salary:             $1800US per month worked TAX FREE
  • Website:          On application …it’s LUSH
  • Contract:         6 months on and 2 months off rotation (not paid in vacation sorry)
  • Berthing:         SINGLE CABIN – wooo hooo! 🙂

  • Reporting to:   Deputy Cruise Director and Cruise Director
  • Managing:       The Cruise Staff team – as and when needs
  • Required:       You to take, pay and pass a medical, source a clean background check, source a US C1/D visa (reimbursed), have glowing references, plus to follow the cruise line covid regulations and more!

The Superb Role Overview

  • Enthusiastically hosts essential entertainment and other revenue/non- revenue events, including but not limited to trivia events, sports, and deck games, operating the ship’s library, and other events, always per Entertainment policies and procedures.
  • Always ensures efficient setup, presentation, and operation of ongoing programs, including adherence to all safety and ethical protocols per Company policies and procedures.
  • Promptly and willingly performs any duties assigned by the Deputy Cruise Director, Cruise Director, and other senior management.
  • Consistently demonstrates responsibility, authority, and accountability; promptly takes on additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
  • Provides a positive first impression to every passenger through a warm, welcoming individual greeting; always maintains a clean and professional appearance.
  • Observes passengers identify their preferences and adjusts service accordingly, anticipating passengers’ needs and offering appropriate responses without the customer having to ask.
  • Demonstrates to every passenger that his or her satisfaction is our top priority by immediately acknowledging every request, responding promptly and effectively to resolve any service request or concern, and escalating to Supervisor as appropriate.
  • Supports cost-saving initiatives and protocols without adversely affecting product standards.
  • Enthusiastically cross-promotes revenue departments whenever appropriate.
  • All duties must be completed per the company Core Values

YOU the PERFECT Candidate

  • You will be bringing an impeccable image, oozing luxury, SPARKLING personality, sharp, polished and articulate fully in English (additional languages a benefit)
  • You will have preferably worked at sea before in a Cruise Staff role and be ready for the next step-up.
  • If you have a valid US C1/D visa, then that’s a definite PLUS 😊
  • You will come with a BEAMING smile and a FRESH attitude to bring your skills and learn new ones too.
  • You must have at least 3 years’ experience hosting events, activities, karaoke, shows, or similar theatrical performances.
  • You will most likely have a show-reel of you presenting.
  • Must have live experience as an entertainment host with the use of a microphone in front of a large audience.
  • Must be capable of controlling their environment with strong microphone skills, engaging personalities, and a great sense of humour.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, systematic, computer savvy, data-driven, analytical.
