Head Chef required
120 Passenger Expedition Ship
This is the Flagship of the company
Great quality food!
The vessel will be working between October 2009 – January 2010 and will do 5 voyages to Antarctica during this time.
So this is a Relief contract position.
The Chef is responsible for running a small galley of 6 staff and providing catering for up to 120 pax for the period of the contract
Salary – USD $175 per day + gratuities from passengers (average $10-15 per day)
The charter of the vessel finishes in January in Australia
Cabin is a twin share basis, private bathroom cabin - (preference will be given to the Chef if single is available)
Flights paid by the company
Previous small shipboard experience is needed
Expedition Ship experience would be ideal
Must possess good leadership and organisational skills.
STCW certificates are desirable but not manditory
Ship medical required
Previous Ship experience is a must. Ideally small ship experience / Expedition Ship experience required.
