Location Lemington Spa
Salary £20k to £23k Depending on experience

You and the brand
This fun loving international Branded restaurant group with over 3,500 employees worldwide is not necessarily looking for chefs who have experience in the Japanese style of cooking, our client is famous for.
Our client can teach you how to do this, the first 9 weeks with our client will be “on the job training” away from home in one of their London restaurants, so you will have no worries in understanding our clients brand and style of cooking once you have completed the companies hands on training programme.
But for you to succeed in getting to work with our client you will need to have traceable evidence of the following skills throughout your career
·Experience in managing a brigade of 6 to 8 Chefs
·You will have experience where your working day is 80% cooking and managing staff and 20% administration
·You will have managed and cooked in a kitchen with over 350 covers a day
·Able to lead from the front and have experience in training Commis and Chef de parties
·Able to produce records of your targeted GP (Gross Profit) Food wastage records
·You will have experience in cooking from a branded restaurant menu produced by Head office
·You will have experience in managing a team where at least 70% of the customers are “walk in” clients and not from restaurant bookings
Duties Include
·Hours are 48 hours a week and you will be working 5 out of 7 days
·NO SPLIT SHIFTS
·All food is prepared in line with company specifications
·All the back of house is motivated and working as an effective team
·Maintain company standards of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness
·Ensuring that back of house team comply with all legislation regarding food hygiene and health and safety standards
·Maintain profitability through increased sales and keeping costs and wastage low whilst maintaining company operating standards
·To adhere to company standards of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness throughout the back of house
·To maintain all staff training manuals and delivering additional training where required in compliance with all statutory and company procedures
·To take an active role in promoting, coaching and developing junior staff and restaurant communication
·To work towards high scores in all inspections and audits
·To run shifts efficiently, effectively ensuring all duties and daily administration are completed within the time frames
·To keep level headed/ sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable, with the ability to work flexibly under pressure
·a passion for great food knowledge/ skills required essential
·Ideal but not essential you will be skilled on each of the stations in the kitchen including (teppan station, wok station, ramen station, fry station, and the juice bar).
·attention to detail and in relation to food service (quality, portion size, presentation and consistency)
·computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft excel, access and outlook
·externally recognised food and/or health and safety qualification
Personal attributes
·Fluency in written and spoken English
·You will need to be eligible to work and live within the UK
·You will need to be currently living and working in the UK
·This is not a live in position; you will be required to source your own local accommodation
(Please note accommodation will be supplied if required, throughout your 9 week training programme in London)
