1st Officer for 6* Yacht- Location: Cruise Ships / Offshore
- Contract type: Permanent
- Salary: $4500 (negotiable) per month/ 12 months tax free
Job Description:
Excite Recruitment are delighted to present the role of 1st Officer on board a 6* Mega Yacht.
The details are as follows:
• $4500 (negotiable) paid 12 months of the year
• 10 weeks on/10 weeks off
• Single cabin
• Flights to and from vessel
The role
To have an understanding of the Safety Management System, including the Safety Organization as per the Emergency Plan. To ensure that all necessary Navigational publications, charts, flags and other supplies are in stock / up to date and the equipment is in a good working order before the beginning of each voyage
You will also
Make Sea and Port passage plans as directed by the Master;
Keep a library on the bridge with all necessary rules and regulations;
Keep track of all Bridge maintenance and inventories in the AMOS system;
Keep the Bridge Team (including the Master / Staff Captain) informed of any warnings or corrections made to the set itinerary;
Keep the Bridge Team (including the Master / Staff Captain) informed of equipment failure. He shall, in addition, keep a rough log of these malfunctions.

You must hold qualifications and licenses that conform with all International & National Conventions & Regulations;
You shall also have an unlimited Master’s license and a documented experience from passenger vessels before being employed.
